Butler senior wins national title

Butler High's Spencer Adams had three remarkable days in New York.

He finished with a victory Sunday in the 60-meter hurdles at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships at the New Balance Track and Field Center at The Armory.

Adams ran 7.75 seconds to easily beat runner-up William Wynne (7.89) of Marietta, Ga.

It wasn't, however, Adams' best effort of the weekend. That came Saturday.
