Great season, tough finish for Rocket softball

June 1, 2009
Person High School

Perhaps the perfect description of the 2009 season for the Person softball team would be a great season with a disappointing ending. "That just about evaluates it in one sentence," said head coach Mike Shotwell, whose No. 1 seeded Piedmont Athletic Conference champions were eliminated in the second round of the Division 4A playoffs last Friday. "I thought we were better than we played in that last game, I thought Brittany [Shotwell] was a better pitcher than she showed, and I thought we were better hitters than we showed that day." for more on this article http://www.roxboro-courier.com/articles/2009/06/01/sports/doc4a1caf93e9321288365224.txt
