Rocket JV Baseball opens PAC-6 play with win

The Person junior varsity baseball team continued to get strong pitching as Zach Geller went all five innings and struck out five hitters in a 5-3 Piedmont Athletic Conference rain-shortened win over Chapel Hill on Thursday at Rocket Park. It was the PAC-6 opener for Person, which improved to 2-3 overall.
The Rocket JV's did not play their scheduled contest at Hillside on Friday, and are scheduled to host East Chapel Hill on Tuesday, Mar. 24 at Rocket Park (4 pm start) |
